Handprint Party Mask

The simplest and quickest party mask

Take1 A 4 size cardstock or thick paper

White glue,scissor, some colourful feathers, one bamboo stick,and 2D small round or any other stickers

Fold your paper and Draft your handprint on the paper , Now cut the handprint to get two same size hands, fold the in center and cut a small oval shape to get your eye shape, stick the ends of your handprints, and decorate the eye part with stickers, and fingers part with  colourful feathers,  attach the bamboo stick or ice cream stick on one side and tada ........... you are ready to party...................

Paper Dolls

Moving forward from the snowflake
  Draw a doll pattern as shown on a paper  and cut along the outline
Now fold the snowflake as shown in the earlier post and cut it from the center to make a whole to insert your doll, After cutting your doll fold it in half or thinner to insert it in  the whole u just made in the snowflake
You can attach a ribbon as a skirt belt to ensure it doesn't slip

We have been making tis since childhood but I still love these as everytime u get  a new pattern

I made this with my kids in summer camp they just adored it

we'll need

1. Origami papers or any paper cut in square shape
2. Scissors

Fold your square in a triangle shape ,fold the triangle in half again, Now for the third and last time fold ur triangle in half

Now draw any pattern on the triangle and start cutting along the pattern
 




Now unfold your paper carefully  and you will be amazed by the result

3D flower Hanging

Made this flower in my summer camp with kids and they adored it  just got the pictures from wiki how and posted this flower try it i m sure the kids will love making it

u'll need:-

6 origami papers or A 4 size card stock for a more thick flower

pencil, scale, scissors, white glue

for the first step we'll fold the sheet in a triangle (in case any extra sheet is left we'll cut and remove it ,we actually want a perfect square)

Now make the lines as shown with the help of pencil and scale and cut along these lines using scissor

Unfold the triangle so that u can see the square
Now roll the innermost diamond shaped cut to form a tube put a pencil or ur fingers in between and apply glue wait till dry

 Now repeat the same step with the second cut but on the opposite side
Repeat this alternating the folds on opposite sides untill u reach the last cut and u get the shape as shown below

 Make these petals with the remaining 5 sheets and join them together as shown below
 U can also make it with two different colours below is a flower made by my 8 year old son

Homemade Salsa kids can make

4 Big tomatoes diced

1/2 cup frozen corn kernels

1 Big Onion diced

1 small bell pepper of all three colours each (this will add colour to our salsa)
finely chopped

1/2 bunch of coriander

2 tbsp of lime juice

combine all the above ingradients and serve with baked chips or anything of your choice we can even serve them with fried leftover chapatis


With Summers not ready to give up lets enjoy this chilled mocktail Khatta meetha shot(Amla , Honey)



I tasted this shot recipe at a recent birthday party and was all for it. just wanted to share this tangy and sweet shot with u all
for this you'll need

4 big Amla deseeded and chopped
2 tsp Amla crush
1 tbsp Honey
crushed ice (as much u want )
powdered sugar and slice of lemon for garnish 

Mix all the above except ice in a blender/ mixer to make a fine paste . Now with the help of a muslin cloth sieve/strain  this mixture  . Mix the strained liquid and honey in seperate jar along with 3 1/2 glasses of water. Move a slice of lemon along the rim of your shot glass, and dip your glass rim in the powdered sugar.
Add some crushed ice in your shot glasses,and pour the above prepared juice  serve in style  with a slice of lemon or amla on the rim or serve just like that
